Gabriel Ortiz is a conceptual based representational artist. The subject matter of his work ranges from existential psychology, to matters of spirituality, to concepts of intersectionality. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Oil Painting and Graphic Design in 2009 from Notre Dame de Namur University. He has participated in various group shows at the Wiegand Gallery and the Getty Research Institute. Gabriel is actively producing art while earning his Masters of Library and Information Sciences degree from San Jose State University. As a professional, he will pursue a career in both librarianship and art.
